Bad customer service

Ordered this camera had slight issue upon installing,drove it for maybe a couple of weeks then contacted customer service. Got a response fairly quick and was handed off to someone else and as of 12-4-24 have had no response.

Replaced 2017 Ford Expedition Rear Camera

Fixed my faulty rear camera in my 2017 Ford Expedition EL XLT. The camera had started giving the occasional blue screen, until it finally didn't work at all. This camera was an easy install (see youtube for videos on disassembly of rear door) and is working. The only two downsides I've noted relative to the OEM unit are: 1. The alternative views I enjoyed (top down and wide, in addition to normal) are not available on this unit; and 2. The directional lines are completely wrong when you first put the truck in reverse. It's only after I've driven some distance or perhaps time has passed at the moving directional lines work properly. And they are quite nice when they are working. Just wish they would be accurate as soon as I start the truck and put it in reverse.

Worked perfectly. The unit even upgraded the turning of the wheels view to being active. It was not with the factory unit.

Curves white lines are a hazard

For backing out of a driveway after starting your car this camera is a piece of crap. The white line stay curved until you drive for a while then they move.. once you stop your vehicle and park, they remain curved lines, which is a complete hazard. I guess you get crappy items for a cheap price.

Failing in just over a month

I ordered this in March, it started failing before the end of April. The image on the screen I put the truck in reverse is often just a wavy, blurry purple image. Unable to see anything. When it does work, the turning lines are always stuck in the hard left turn position.
